Un éclat pur de Muscat ! — 10 years ago
Much too young, but that was the intention of the night....Though totally different terrior and taste, it in spirit reminded me of the '09 Marcassin I had a while ago. I think these two wines, more than any other, had the most delineated and distinct phases in the glass. At a point the Rbourg tasted of blood & iron. At another menthol and wood. Then the menthol started to die down to reveal brett. And then it went to a more stem focus... All the way to a forest floor characteristic. Marcassin is the only other wine I have had make such distince stark changes sip to sip. — 10 years ago

Nice sparkling representation of the Clairette varietal, hailing from the Rhone valley. Crisp with nice acidity, this is the perfect aperitif to start off an evening of indulgences. — 10 years ago

One of those wines I couldn't die without trying. Luscious with lots of life left. Velvety and smooth, classic Bordeaux. — 10 years ago
