The pallet hits with a rush of acidity, minerality, and that sweet Meyer lemon again, almost like a lemon sorbet, with a ripe pineapple finish and honey. The more it sits the more complex it gets. Color of deep opaque purple, almost only. Nose of cocoa from a foot away, some leather, dried strawberries, and sweet tobacco. Nose is quite nice. Taste is off. Quite acidic, dilute, and bitter. I feel the nose is good but the content is empty. Quite spicy and bitter on the aftertaste.
Luckily, the taste is much netter on the 2nd day. With bitterness fades away, the flavors come alive. I can taste nice sugar plum and vanilla sweetness on the tongue, with some hotness. — 9 years ago
