Flavorful, gently sparkling — 8 years ago
Extraordinary! Don't underestimate Moscato when it is left alone in a barrel under the stairs in the vineyard cellar for 20 years. Might of guessed sherry, or rancio, truly unique. — 10 years ago
Comment: Beautifully balanced nose that makes your skin crawl. This Barolo has deep baking spice notes balanced with herbs humid hay and a warm peppery balsamic finish. Pepper hits the palate first followed by dried herbs (organo, thyme) and a slight cherry/strawberry finish. Silky smooth tannins that give this a beautiful mouthfeel! Yum! — 10 years ago
Delicious wine with lasagna. Very fruit forward and smooth tannins. A little "hot" but very nice finish — 11 years ago
il fantastico pesce di Vittorio non poteva trovare compagno migliore... — 12 years ago
Met Vittorio Innocenti at a tasting in his cellar in Montefollonico. Tasted this wine from his private stock and fell in love with Vin Santo. It took me over an hour to get him to sell me some. Absolutely incredible!!! Thank you Vitorrio! — 13 years ago

Damn refreshing. Textural fizz. — 9 years ago
Really well balanced with lots of fruit and a touch of spice on the nose. Wine did well with pasta and paired well with the cheese at the end of the meal. Good finish that seemed to improve after a couple hours of breathing. — 10 years ago
I've had 6 bottles of this. 1 was absurdly reduced, but was superb on the 3rd day. The other 5 were ethereal. Lasted for days, or sometimes, didn't last for an hour. Stunning example of what Sangiovese can be when its not over-cropped, over-ripe and over-oaked. I don't like most Sangiovese, it's no secret. Something about the creamy yogurt thing I get, and the opinion I have that Tuscany is the Napa of Italy. But this wine is real, raw, alive, unique. No oak. No additives. No bullshit. I love it. Umbrian Sangiovese fermented and aged in concrete. It changes and breathes. There's not much else like it. — 12 years ago
Felsina Chianti Classico. 13.5% abv. Great dark ruby color. Some hint of oak and cherries on the nose. Dry, great acid and body. Smooth texture and medium finish. Great with Calabrese pizza from trattoria da vittorio. — 13 years ago

This wine is quite an experience, intellectual. Bera has been ever since my favourite Moscato producer, and here those varietal aromatics evolve into something extremely complex. Resting under flor for sixteen years is something that makes this wine unique. It's fresh, vegetal, herbal, floral, bone dry and very deep. Meditative. Had it with a grand plateau de fromages and it was just perfect. — 6 years ago
