New year round release in this breweries lineup, 22oz bombers, probably six packs on the way, good solid IPA, classic west coast, no tropical notes, but that classic English yeast strain and 4 malts that they utilize so well, perfect balance of the "C" hops and malt, very well made and crafted, like all of their beers, nothing mind blowing or different, just a very good IPA — 9 years ago

Nice. Pomegranate molasses really comes through on this. — 9 years ago
I like the thick heftiness on the tongue , the bit of prune and strong coffee on nose; also like that it's balanced by a dry, nimble, roasty, tingly finish. Man is that gone fast. — 10 years ago
Simply joyful beer, very fruitful, creamy, awesome! — 10 years ago

Very good beer from a great brewery, the name says it all, if you like your IPA's with a good amount of pine hops, well this just perfect for you, not over the top, but the pine takes center stage in this very well made IPA — 10 years ago
Middle of summer? Winter warmer! Mellow woody/estery notes over boozeberry. Long tail still giving plenty of mouth and brown sugar. — 9 years ago

This is the brandy barrel aged version, not cognac. Black like the Abyss. Nice round mouthfeel with bitter cocoa, molasses, and a bit of brandy-like heat. Excellent. — 9 years ago
