SVV is a limited-production winery producing estate-grown-and-bottled red wines. For more than a century, the Corkum-Derby family has been farming the area known as Spring Valley, first planting grapes in 1993, with first estate grown and bottled wine in 1999. Aromas of berry fruit with citru and pepper nose. On the is palate blackberry & raspberry flavors with oak and cracked pepper, good focus, drinks well now. Lingering finish ends on the spicy side. — 8 years ago

Limes, tangerine and peaches. Salty, nutty, and still mouthwatering at ten years old — 8 years ago
Cabernet Franc dominant. Dusty red fruits, vanilla beans and cedar wood flavors...still powerful and mighty present on the palate. Old world style meets Paso Robles fruit in this bottle. My favorite vintage of this wine so far. 75% new French oak. 15.2 % ABV. — 8 years ago
Fragrant melon and floral-laced nose. A quite lively and yet in line acid structure, citrus fruit and great length, with plenty of texture at the finish. 14% ABV. — 8 years ago
Good combo of fruit and spice. Easy to drink and good price point. — 8 years ago
Had it November 2008.

burgundy resemblance is embarrassing, but not too complex at all. Expectations were far too high. — 9 years ago
Discovered this in a bar in Derby and been loving it since. Really smooth and tasty. — 6 years ago
Delicious. Dark, rich berries and sumptuous earth greet both nose and palette. A bit of wet wood funk and tobacco and sage are also around the edges. The finish is long and smooth, with the tannins checking in at feather soft. A beautiful wine from one of my favorite Paso producers. — 7 years ago
Crisp acidity, great tart mouthfeel with refreshing Cranberry, watermelon and red apple flavors. A Mataro dominant kitchen sink rose for this vintage. The Mataro was directly pressed, while everything else went through the saignee process. 13% ABV. — 8 years ago
$16 Grape connection. Great lunch wine. Crisp, fruity. Good stand alone — 8 years ago
