Florals with burnt honeysuckle notes. Good intensity and length particularly for an NV. One of the democratic winners of the Prince Wine Store champagne tasting in late 2010 I attended. 17.5. — 11 years ago
Good democratic wine — 12 years ago
We paired this with country ribs drenched in a smoky BBQ sauce. And while I've never made ribs nor tasted this wine, all I can say is...I was transported to scenes From House of Cards, where Kevin Spacey plays the excellent, if slightly sociopathic character of Frank Underwood, Democratic Majority Whip. This wine is brazen, ballsy and complex, with notes of eucalyptus, smoke, preserved meat, asphalt, ox blood, grit and conspiracy. Rich, brooding and as well-developed as a riveting story, the Cimicky will suck you in. — 12 years ago
Great vintage for democratic price. Taste of plums, dark choclate and touch of vanilla. — 11 years ago
The democratic winner of our 1995 tasting. Has been my personal Aussie Cabernet for some time. Jancis gave this vintage 19 points. Packed with all the Cabernet descriptors with the trademark Marg River herbaceousness. 19- — 12 years ago
