When one has the budget to splurge on a wine like this (all depends on how you define splurge) this is an absolute beauty. Tart fruits - crisp pear and apple - integrated with herbal flavors are a treat. Hard to describe all that's going on here, but the bottom line is this a fabulous wine. — 10 years ago
Deep ruby red with violet tones. Brilliant. Its flavors are highlighted red and black fruits preserved with a clear note of cassis and spices like cinnamon and cloves. In second nose parenting notes with a balmy spring profile with herbal tones that define freshness and elegance. Attack that deals dry palate with freshness and intense flow. Means of ample and juicy mouth, crisp fruit flavors and smoky overtones. Friendly, expressive tannins and long finish . — 10 years ago
This estate continued to turn out top notch wines that's are truly world-class. Vibrant pale yellow. Aromas of quince, crushed rocks, pear and a single citrus tone define the nose. On entry to the palate the wine is sweeter than expected, but this is likely a vintage condition, as sec can vary year by year. Delicious with cheese and a pretty good match to while wheat lasagne stuffed with ricotta, spinach and mushrooms in a red sauce. I pulled it and popped the cork anticipating chicken pot pie... — 10 years ago

This Ferrari-Carano mix of Sangiovese, Malbec, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium-dark hue and a nose of red plums, blueberries and sweet oak spice. Stony minerals define the mid-palate. The wine is light in the mouth, with easy tannins. Red berries, cherries and a touch of cola appear on the palate, and it finishes bright and festive with spices - cinnamon and anise - lingering. — 10 years ago
