Quite the baby since it's not even released yet, but has plenty of potential. From 40+ year-old vines from Todd Bros Ranch in red volcanic soils, just bottled last month after 18 in French barriques. Minerality of the soil jumps out of the glass right away, but needs air to let the fruit and tannin really come into play. — 10 years ago
Down to the last of the '12 Rosés. This one is blend of Grenache, Zin, and PS Strawberries, cherries & spice. Good acid. Dry and drinking just fine! — 11 years ago
New release of our Ancient Vines blend (⅓ each Zinfandel, Mourvèdre & Carignane) from Bedrock Vineyard. All 3 varietals play well together and add their own distinct flair, making for a red that's full-flavored yet nuanced. I would pair it with ribeye steaks, grilled lamb or braised short ribs. — 10 years ago
Dang. Still has deep fruit, light vegetal tannin, length. Found it covered in dust on the bottom shelf of an hbg liquor store. — 11 years ago
Great blackberry, black cherry and spice flavors. Classic dry creek Zinfandel — 10 years ago
Young, not to ripe. Smoooooth and tasty — 12 years ago
Limor Finkel
Double the mL double the fun. Can't wait to release this Wine Club exclusive magnum later this week! In the words of Anne Dashe, a "slutty" wine, with fresh plum, pomegranate reduction, and blueberry in all the right places. It'll take all my willpower to hold this for a few years (aka never happening). — 9 years ago
