Aroma: slightly oxidized, bruised apple, mushroom
Palate: dry, yellow apple, pineapple, nice balance between acidity and overripe apple and pear
Texture: med-full body, med length finish, honeyish — 9 years ago
How have I not had this wine in my life before? Leafy green tones, dizzying array of orchard and citrus fruits, all super bright and ripe, fresh mushrooms, ginger candy, fresh soil, wax, and stones. Mouth coating and dense. Acidity is persistent but not searing. Balanced from start to finish. — 9 years ago
A delicious Cru Beaujolais! I've been drinking this for about six years and always like it. Light and with a little funk, but not too much. A winner in the Louis/Dressner stable. — 10 years ago
You can't sneak a Syrah dominated CDR by me at prices this good. Fresh as hell, fat and sassy. 2013 La Boveau. — 10 years ago

I found this white complicated. I liked it a lot. — 8 years ago
— 9 years ago

Holy heck I paid less than nothing (i.e. around ten) and this overdelivers...if you like licorice and/or anise. I'm a nut for those so...also you get medium plus acid medium minus tannins and all the perfectly-ripe-yet-still-firm berries you could wish for. Even on night two of sipping. I will be on the lookout for more from Bonnet Rouge. — 8 years ago
