The Maetierra Atlantic Albariño is a pretty, pale golden wine. I love the nose. It shows a serious savory side, with a soapy salinity. There's great fruit in there, too, like a gentle note of limes and tangerines. The palate brings plenty of minerals to the forefront with a racy acidity that really refreshes. Unlitro is a blend of Alicante Nero, Carignane, and Alicante Bouschet. Brightly earthy and juicy, so drinkable, almost fizzy. Laura likes the dark velvety fruit, rich fizzy texture. I was getting undertones of blackened fish and fresh rubber- like that episode of GIJOE where they raise Atlantis by sinking tires to the sea floor. — 9 years ago
