Notes of vegetal with slight bell pepper abounds with plump red fruit. Decanted and wow, restrained and loose when paired with fondue and risotto. — 3 years ago
This is wonderful juice. Everything Loveblock is not. Rich and dense on the nose and palate. Prior notes apply. — 6 years ago
I owe my love of Sonoma Pinot to Sean Capiaux. In evaluating this bottle, if I set those sentiments aside, I’m still hit by the excellence of Gap’s Crown. This is a big wine, no doubt, but it’s grace that first comes to mind. The fruit’s ripeness is balanced with shocking depth, nose to tail. Candied red fruits, blue fruits, and smoke, oversimplify a melange of fruit and umami. ABV is the one flaw, for me. It’s hot. — 7 years ago
Great nose, big bold wine that stays on The palette — 8 years ago
v13. Very good. Lengthy decant. Soft, candied cherry and smoked meat nose. Rich, blackberry and black cherry fruit. Full round, black pepper and earth finish . The legs on the glass never end!!!! — 4 years ago

Awesome! Cork appeared soaked through but didn’t seem to impact the wine. Rich flavors of butter, cream, and vanilla. Very white burg like. Great QPR! — 3 years ago
