The body of the wine is generous and round. The finish is correct without extravagance. Will age favorably with a few years in the cellar.

Un Cahors encore jeune aux tanins ronds et puissant comme on attend sur cette appellation. Nez de fruits noirs, pruneau, eucalyptus, encre fraîche, fumée, crayeuse, graphite. Le corps du vin est généreux et rond. La finale est correct sans extravagance. Vieillira favorablement avec quelques années en cave. — 5 years ago

So balance, nice grip/body that competes, very dark and purple, sweet floral lotiony smell, the body is thick, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries/strawberries blended and mashed - all not quite perfectly ripe - per a recommendation from chamber street wine having chicken with this- holy cow - what a great thing- by the way, if you think about chicken breast going in, it all makes sense, amazing earth and blossom — 8 years ago

A beautiful floral nose with violets, cedar and some hints of licorice. Medium bodied palate that is juicy with good fruit, some power yet elegant with nice silky tannins. Approchable despite the youth with one hour decanted. Delicious.

Passé une heure en carafe. Un beau nez floral, violettes, cèdre, un peu de réglisse. Une bouche de puissance moyenne , en souplesse aussi, mais juteuse et avec du fruit, du corps et une trame tannique assez prononcée mais quand même agréable de texture, vraiment approchable en jeunesse et délicieux. 90-91 — 5 years ago

Round and supple, with a very generous body on the usual notes of well-crafted Syrah: blackberries, blueberries, chocolate, roasting, caramel, tapenade, pepper, violet. The attack is fresh, and the finish not that long, but the whole is very mastery. The perfect wine for grilled meat, pepper or shallot sauce.

Rond et souple, avec un corps très gourmand sur les notes habituelles de la Syrah bien travaillée: mûres, myrtille, chocolat, torréfaction, caramel, tapenade, poivre, violette.
