Several hours of decanter time is needed to appreciate this beast.
Still very compact and concentrated, black pepper, brambly fruit, dried sausages, blood, kirsch, some farmyardy funk. Strong alcoholic component. Lots of potential here.
100% Mourvedre.

The pale yellow '08 Domaine Dujac Morey Saint-Denis 1er Cru Monts Luisants has elevated aromas of honeyed orange zest, flowers and white peaches. The taste has a more raisiny component with spice and apple notes. Great acidity and mouth-texture. Very powerful finish with a nice lemony aftertaste. — 10 years ago
