54% Malbec 46% Cab Franc. Yummy. Big red with strong tannins and fruity flavor. At John and Glenda’s for John’s birthday. $26 at Fred Meyer — 6 years ago
Dense inky purple. Briar, black currant and blackberry notes in nose. Blackberry and mint flavors with a touch of bay leaf. Blackberry, cherry and mint with length in aftertaste. Fine grained tannins, moderate skin astringency initially but soften quickly. Lovely flavor profile, slightly tart but softens — 6 years ago
A delicate but full bodied wine reminiscent of Piedmont Another wonderful surprise from Washington State — 7 years ago
Outstanding though a bit pricey. Drank at pre-eclipse dinner with the fam in Columbia Missouri. Brazilian feijoada with flat iron and tenderloin steaks. Hit the spot — 8 years ago
An excellent cab franc with notes of dark blackberry spice and tobacco. It will age well 7-10 years, glad I bought 2 bottles! — 9 years ago
A really funky nose that left you wondering what was in the bottle. And then, like a mist that lifts from the river - the tastes and nose showed up. A Phillipe Melka version of Washington’s best grapes. Power Bordeaux blend with Syrah added in. Soft tannins and subtle fruit kept flowing in and out. Wonderful comparison to an 06 Oakville Cab. — 6 years ago
Well balanced southern BC red blend from Oliver. Didn’t know anything about this wine while drinking. Nor did those I was drinking with. It was a gift. I commented that it was easily the quality of a $30 bottle. You won’t find it in the states and lucky to find in Canada for that matter. Vineyard produces limited number of cases. They state their 2016 vintage at 500 cases. If you do find it, BUY IT! — 6 years ago
Blueberry& spice aromas layer in with ripe cherry, chocolate and a hint of mint. Long, supple finish. — 6 years ago
This full-bodied red vintage with a medium finish continues to mature in the bottle. — 7 years ago
Nice finish to this Idaho red blend wine. Idaho wine typically sucks, but we are enjoying this with our spaghetti! Tasting room on Boise River is such a nice place to enjoy a glass with friends and an amazing view and the irresistible idaho mindset. — 8 years ago
Sweeter than I remember, fruity honey — 8 years ago
This brand spanking new Washington merlot tastes like you’re sitting in Bordeaux with a bottle of theirs. Nose of smoldered campfire, tobacco and clove couple with bright raspberries off the vine. This moderately acidic wine will age extremely well. Palate notes of strawberry, plum, fire roasted green bell pepper and washed river stone. — 6 years ago
Tasty, inviting with strong fruit intensity. Good age as well. — 6 years ago
A fantastic right bank blend of Cab Franc and Merlot! — 7 years ago
Perfect rose for patio weather. — 7 years ago
54%/46% Syrah/Cabernet Sauv. Very impressive table wine. Competes with far more expensive wines. — 8 years ago
Massive! Full-bodied 80/20 Malbec Cab Sauv blend. Lamb and hearty BBQ nicely compliment this wine. — 9 years ago
