The wine offers a light, golden hue and the aromas we want with the Albarino grape. The honeysuckle is right up front, followed closely by pineapple and tangerine. An earthy note shows on the palate, a minerality that goes far beyond citrus zest. There’s a bright acidity that will support a Cobb salad or chicken breast just as well as it does a handful of walnuts. — 8 years ago
My first Uruguay wine and I really enjoy this. A little musty on the nose and light, airy, and balanced on palate. Consistent and balance finish. Great value for a $15 wine. — 8 years ago
Very spicy but compliments a meal nicely (sushi)

A wonderfully "different" torrentes from Uraguay. $15 but worth it. — 11 years ago
A bit tough to get the aromas with all the bbq smoke in the air, but dark fruit and plummy. Richness on the pallet and tannins dance with spice. Smooth body and leaves pallet chalky like a cab. Nice Uruguayan wine! — 8 years ago
Wonderful balance. Merlot and Tempranillo counterweight the heavy Tanat. Still, a meaty wine for read meats. Velvety and round tho. Some blackberries and forest fruits - little tanine. — 8 years ago
