Very light melon water, umami and very well balanced acidity through out the body compare to other Junmai Daiginjo which looses acidic balance.
Dassai "50" Junmai Daiginjo stands for remaining 50% polished "Yamada Nishiki" & "Omachi" rice.
It is Asahi shuzo's entry level sake.(they uses same name as Kubota sake's Asahi shuzo but it is different Brewery!!)
Great sake from Yamaguchi prefecture, Japan. — 8 years ago
Darker Ruby with aromas of big red fruits and slight spice. On the palate bold black cherry, blackberry and plum with rich tannins around some oak. Well balanced the fruit stays with this wine on a lingering finish. — 9 years ago

On the downhill side, but still very drinkable, the '96 Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay 'Cold Creek Vineyard' has nice concentration and intensity. Toasty spiced apple and orange marmalade aromas. Well integrated acidity leads to a restrained creamy finish. — 12 years ago
If mineral water was as addictive as crack cocaine, this would be your fix. As I sip, a full-on hologram of the limestone pops ups and spins for my viewing pleasure. Calling this extraordinarily vivid would be an understatement akin to saying Usain Bolt is quick. — 8 years ago
