Pale Garnet. A lot of deposit. Redfruit flavour (cherry, raspberry) with mushroom and earth. Medium high acidity. Medium body. Medium Long finish. Excellent — 7 years ago
What a great find! And the price pint is perfect. I can’t believe there was a bottle with over ten years of age hidden at my local coop. The fruit and acidity have mellowed beautifully giving way to the subtleties of earth and mushrooms, gentle tannins—and lots of sediment! — 8 years ago
rose, creamy grapefruit, pepper rose, Bubblegum. Unexpected complexity. Very good — 9 years ago
Since I do not have many Xarello references in my TN-book, I cannot elaborate on the typicity of this particular bottle. But its flavour profile resembles both White Rhône blends and Chenin. Beeswax, honey, hazelnuts, tropical flowers, earth and brown spices. Mature, some oxidative notes, retaining sufficient acidity. Still very good. — 9 years ago
