Amazing aromatic nose with
ripe black berries fruit, black cherries, herbs from the Porrera hills, lavendel, thyme, chamomile, earth, fine cedar notes, a wiff vanilla, full bodied with a great and firm texture, lovely ripe fruit flavors, Llicorella, fine acidity, perfect ripe fine tannin, wonderful juicy aftertaste ! What a beautiful wine! 98DSP 😍 — 7 years ago

4/14/2017 Classic chassagne nose, prominent minerals well integrated, little bit buttery (vs Pierre Yves) but shines at this age in the nose. Brilliant acidity that will help it stay at the peak for few more years. (If there is any nit, it is a little too tart for me at this stage) — 10 years ago
Full bodied. Smooth and berry filled. Nice finish nit tannic at all. — 11 years ago
Very nice cab. Smooth and drinkable. Some tannin but nit overdone at all. — 12 years ago
This is the 2001. Very delicate floral aromas with lingering orchard fruit. Spatlese is nit my favorite, but still this is starting to show its complexity. — 12 years ago

Drank with Emily and Bryant, hot tub night. He got it from out a cork in it. — 8 years ago
Finca Más d'en Caçador. 110-year-old vines. One of the highest vineyards of the Priorat (650 + m). Black berries, violets, chocolate with sage, yellow candied fruits, blueberry jam, still closed. Needs aeration. Excellent texture. Priorat in the style of Barbaresco! — 9 years ago
From Magnum, surprisingly open nit and precocious. Expressive nose and generous fruit with tannin in the finish. — 10 years ago
Excellent and versatile Chardonnay, nit deep but some complexity and great with food, medium body. 2014 — 11 years ago
Catchup. The serious shiz-nit. — 11 years ago
Rounded, easy, not overly Kiwi driven - almost a steel aged Chardonnay element to it - and great with SUPER spicy Thai food believe it or not. Actually, it was Laotian, but I'm nit picking cuisines. — 12 years ago

Great, deep pinot. Thought it would be light but was heavy. Almost merlot deep w dark red fruits n almost blue fruits n actually a little leather. Very tasty yet nit the typical pinot for me. — 8 years ago
The 1997 is in a glorious spot right know. All the components are in harmony. The nose is so intoxicating almost haunting. Notes of road tar, black olive, spy, fennel seed are wrapped with dried black cherry, plum, cassis and blood orange. The tannins are silky with lots of spice and earth tones with the dried and fresh red fruit flavors. Mineral and fruit driven finish. I very minor nit is the mid-palate lacks just a bit of texture. 1997 was a tough year but the Chave philosophy of blending across the lieu fits and a rigorous selection have yielded a gem. From a hedonistic perspective this is a 10. — 9 years ago
A sparkling wine from Dry Farm Wines! I drank most of it myself on NYE. Nit too acidic and felt great the next morning! — 10 years ago
Menos ácida que a média das cavas, foi uma ótima pedida para a ceia de Natal. — 11 years ago
Red, heavy berries. Just the way it should be. Maybe too much alcohol taste/flavour, but that's just nit picking and it goes away after 1st glass ;). Leather, tobacco. — 11 years ago
Pretty black-fruited for Sangio, but with undeniable complexity and verve. Lots of herbal bay leaf and oregano notes, sun-dried tomato, matched with cigar wrapper and baked clay minerality. Could be more graceful, but that's nit-picking. Plenty of life still in it, even out of half-bottle. Questionable if premium over the regular Chianti from Felsina is really worth it though... — 12 years ago
Slightly tart, pear, a little sour. Good with seafood. Nit sweet. — 12 years ago
