Superb. As it warmed in the glass layer upon layer of lemon, salt, beeswax revealed themselves. Excellent. The bottle is way too small. — 11 years ago
2008, splash decant for an hour then back in bottle to take for dinner. Very nice nose with some quince and tropical fruits, darker than most. If it were a WB, I'd be worried by the color. — 11 years ago
Stanbury for Leann's birthday. Want another bottle. Very food friendly. — 11 years ago

I was really surprised to see beer bottle cap on a wine bottle. So it was unique for me as well as it was my first wine from Hawke's bay. Lifted with passionfruit and other tropical fruits and lime, floral and grassy notes as well. Rich texture. Long finish. Lively and very refreshing. — 11 years ago
The best inexpensive sauv blanc, hands down. Had this bottle in Brooklyn post-Smorgasburg food festival. — 12 years ago
Another lovely bottle of Jimsomare! Cinnamon prepares top sirloin, asparagus and baked potatoes and decanted this an hour ahead. Aromaticaly this bottle was perfect- expressive and curranty but the finish had a touch of redwood. Still a small bottle! — 12 years ago
Are you an adventurist? Then, pick this bottle. Defniately a juicy wine and a lot of aromas.. Vanilla beans, plum, stewed blackberries and a hint of coffee. On palate still shows vanilla beans and stewed dark berries. It has a medium minus tannin and shows more fruity character. Cheers — 10 years ago
This is a big wine. Take a reference sip right after you open the bottle, and then let it sit for a while. Gentle oak on the nose. Nice, deep fruit in the middle. Smooth tannins on the finish. Put the kids to bed, grab a frozen pizza, and put in a movie. It's going to be a while. Finish with some dark chocolate, or course! — 10 years ago
Immense scents of raspberry and other fruits. Kinda spicy. Enjoying it while eating smoked duck breast. I guess it's worth $50 a bottle. — 11 years ago
I really enjoyed this wine. V.2011 I just bought a bottle of V.2010 to compare. — 11 years ago
Probably expensive. Maybe $120. Gary danko. Full bottle. Santa Cruz vines ( I think that's what he said ) clean crisp full bodied flavor. Wonderful! — 12 years ago
Balanced, a pleasure to enjoy with grilled salmon. Glad I have another bottle! — 12 years ago
Conrad Green

Not a perfect bottle. Lowish fill... A touch of madeirization and a drying finish. But a nice heft of clear, intense fruit. Would be excellent if a bit fresher — 10 years ago
