Chris Ringland 's wines are balanced and complex. I'd put them against any old world Syrah. — 8 years ago
Chris Ringland does it again. My fourth vintage and it seems like it's getting better. This wine is SPOT ON DELICIOUS and only gets better with a little breathing time. Beautiful blueberry pie on the nose and palate. Vanilla and warm baking spices. Some deeper tones of baked blackberries also. Label says 15.5% alcohol but in no way does this seem hot. If you can find this, load up. The only problem is finding it... — 9 years ago
Simply outstanding. Chris carpenter knocking out of the park! — 9 years ago
Lovely bright fruit and soft tannins after decanting for an hour or two. Love Chris' work. — 10 years ago
I've recently had Dick Vermeil and Drew Bledsoe's wines but this one gets my vote for best football themed steakhouse Cab. Well done by Dan Marino and Damon Huard (and of course the winemaker Chris Peterson). This is way too young, but I look forward to checking in on these in a few years. — 10 years ago
An excellent wine from Chris Carpenter in a winemaker's vintage. Cocoa and cinnamon — 11 years ago
A little Ruth's Chris for a late dinner. The boss picked a great bottle. I'm not sure how much input he gave, but turned out well. I just hope he's paying. — 11 years ago
Paired fantastic with leftover Christmas 🎄 Turkey en Croute

Nice enough, but expect more from a 100% Cab. Not near as complex as you'd expect. And Chris Gorman's collaborative efforts are usually my favorites here. 14.9 ABV. Nice enough, but nothing unique or multi layered about it. Too bad, higher expectations. — 8 years ago
This is a partnership with Adrian Hoffman. This wine creates a body glow like I've not experienced. The mouth entry just is an OMG long moment. The lush fruits explode and layer over your palate. Ripe, lush, fruits of; blueberries, turning dark cassis, black plum, blackberries, warm soft spices; Clove, nutmeg, cinnamon & hints of vanilla, light baking spices, black tea, plum cake, light tarry notes. Then, the lighter red fruits unfold as it sits on the palate. Perfect wine harmony!!! 4 years in oak. — 8 years ago
Still has great life! Good job Brundrett — 9 years ago
Big cab with big Chris Carpenter styling bold Aussie fruit with great American wine making,.. Trueman is a win and will be exceptional in years to come. — 10 years ago
Marsanne + Roussanne + Acacia barrel = sappy, honeyed, spicy apricot deliciousness. This has the structure to live forever; I'll never know, can't stop drinking it now. @Chris Broomell kills it again. — 10 years ago

Some tasty funk, didn't snap as much as expected — 8 years ago
An oily orange wine with a cute etiquette. Friends and I chose slices of liver and well cooked onions as our secondo which was a pretty good decision :) — 8 years ago
The Hoffman was nearly the wine of the tasting. Warm fruits; of blue & blackberries slowly lift out of the glass with supple soft spices. It was a hard call to say, was it warm fruit pie or was it more like pudding? I'd say both. The spices in this wine lifted off your palate like warm sun on ground water creating rising steam. You cannot only sense it, you can see them as you sip it. Blackberries, blueberries, black plum, rhubarb, baked cranberries & strawberries follow, black licorice, used leather, dry stems, underbrush, crushed rocks, clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, Christmas cake and used coffee grounds. Perfect harmony in body, texture. length, balance, acidity and finish. 5 years in oak. — 8 years ago
Probably should have cellared for a few years, but we couldn't wait. All wine. Zero bullshit. Greatness @Chris Pittenger. — 9 years ago
Drinking Broc on our first date since Jack's birth! A true celebration! Beautiful bouquet. Impressive structure for a Gamay. Love it @Chris Brockway ! — 10 years ago
Thanks, Chris @brocwine for making this deliciousness again! — 10 years ago
Super earthy tannins, very natural. A little fizz at first. — 10 years ago
Really great Bordeaux style red from Washington State. Winemaker Chris Peterson, formerly of DeLille Cellars. Great for the price too, can likely lay down for 5 or 10 years — 11 years ago
