Perfumed, Elegant, black berries, cassis, well managed tannings and acidity, long finish — 7 months ago
A very well-balanced merlot from Hebei region, a compote of red fruits, aromatic with rounded tannins, fruity and slightly juicy. A hint of chocolate and some dried leaves and black forrest by the back-end of the palate. Moderate texture and finish. — 9 months ago
Introduced to me by the sommelier at Bulgari Hotel Shanghai. The wine comes from a Xinjiang vineyard. Rkatsiteli (stands for “Red Stem”) is a grape from Georgia (Europe/Asia) for making white wine. It is surprisingly good. Crisp, leafy taste, sweet tasting (pear & coconut), mineral — 6 years ago

Amazing Chinese wine — 6 years ago
100% Syrah from Dongshui in the Yunnan Region. All driven by a mix of red fruits, red berries, and dark cherry on the nose, hints of coffee and a touch of oak. Approachable, and a bit of earthy on the mid range of the palate as well. Nice texture and moderate body. — 9 months ago
