Classic Gran Reserva. Nose is leather and oak. Complex in the mouth with leather, oak, clove, cinnamon, tobacco, fig and a hint of blue cheese. It finishes with more oak, medium acid and chewy tannins. A lovely dark, blood red color to boot. At a meal, this is the main course. Me gusta. — 9 years ago
This estate continued to turn out top notch wines that's are truly world-class. Vibrant pale yellow. Aromas of quince, crushed rocks, pear and a single citrus tone define the nose. On entry to the palate the wine is sweeter than expected, but this is likely a vintage condition, as sec can vary year by year. Delicious with cheese and a pretty good match to while wheat lasagne stuffed with ricotta, spinach and mushrooms in a red sauce. I pulled it and popped the cork anticipating chicken pot pie... — 10 years ago

Never had a port this smooth. Paired well with cream cheese pound cake, strawberries and real whipped cream. — 9 years ago
I let it breathe for 30 minutes before drinking and kept it open through dinner. Strong on the first scent and then it adopts a meatier smell. First impression is earthy and dry like jerky. Strong tannen. Low full bodied fruitiness. Best with cheese and meats. Easier to drink as it breathes. Huge fan of the Perrin family wines. Would buy again — 9 years ago

Fruity and caramel. It is good if you want a light white with my favorite flavors of a Chardonnay. Great for a cheap wine. — 9 years ago
