My previous note for a 2018 example is still valid for this 2022. It's peachy and lemony on the nose. There is a bit of chalk and a very discreet herbal note. There isn't any kiwi or cat piss note here like in very aromatic NZ sauvignons. It's more delicate and white-fruit forward. The palate is well balanced with a good acid drive, some nice width, good white peach and nice lemon tart and lemon curd notes all along. The mouthfeel is reminiscent of that chalky note on the nose : that chalky texture carries on from the beginning to the very end. The finish is fresh, lemony and peachy and goes on for a good while. There is a bit of grip too. I had an urge for oysters and realized I hadn't had pouilly fumé in a long while. 2 fixes in one go --> great success 👍! — a month ago
