2000 vintage. With Olivier, Stan and Jay at Krug. Deep and rich notes of citrus and stone fruits, iodine and seaweed. Toasty and bready. Very complex and concentrated. On the palate, high acidity, medium body and alcohol, deep concentration of flavour but with elegance and finesse. Very long finish. More mature and rich than I was expecting. How long this wine will develop is debatable. But in a very good place right now. Excellent. — 8 years ago
