Small batch no. 16, “The Raven”. One of their first I’ve had of theirs that has a [mild] acetic profile. As my dad said, “kinda smells like those chips we used to eat.. salt & vinegar!” Super tasty and the quality of the feral fruit shows. Cool, deep fruit comes through on nose. Finish sticks to your gums rather than tongue... tannins. — 7 years ago
Best Marquette I’ve ever had... and I’ve had a lot. — 7 years ago

Probably the best domestic cider I've had. Mineral, almost tannic crunch. Conjures vivid images of tiny little enamel-stripping cider apples. Great acid, nice lift, evanescent finish that leaves you begging for another sip. — 9 years ago
Phenomenal ice cider that went perfectly with terrines and goat cheese — 9 years ago
My absolute favorite! — 9 years ago
Yum. Really nice tannins. — 10 years ago
I guarantee this is the best beer you will ever drink, if you disagree I will finish it for you. — 10 years ago
This is beyond legit. I have not been a huge hill fan In the past but this is great. I wish it said sour though. Thanks @corkyphilly — 11 years ago

Simply phenomenal. A Rye to seek out. Painfully smooth and glides down like butter. A 3 blend rye aged in Madeira/Sauternes/Port casks...the majority in Madeira. As for the painting it is a work from Todd Marinovich himself who is the protagonist here 🖕🏽 and a guy who many of my friends went to school with at SC. He’s been a tool a good part of his life but who knows what signposts dictate a man’s life path. His Dad’s approach to parenting is a cautionary tale for sure. I hope he’s turned it around. His painting cracked me up last night, I know that. — 7 years ago

A delicious Cru Beaujolais! I've been drinking this for about six years and always like it. Light and with a little funk, but not too much. A winner in the Louis/Dressner stable. — 10 years ago
Hoppy nose. Slight funk. Oak. — 10 years ago

Nothing beats a Heady — 7 years ago
Best saison I've ever had. Near perfect beer. Bottle conditioned. Dry apricot, lemon peel, fresh hay, saison funk, it goes on and on to a bone dry, and tart finish. — 9 years ago
Definitely less sugary than somersby which is great! You can taste apple in the aftertaste which is a delight. Great for casual drinking, very light. — 9 years ago
Excellent rye — 10 years ago

A great wine from a Vermont vineyard made from estate grown Marquette grapes. Robust flavors of black cherry and black pepper. Delicious! — 12 years ago

Little oaky at first, but after a breather the oak recedes and gives way to red & dark fruits; like a juice — 7 years ago
