Love this wine. Elise Gaillard & her team do magnificent work on this Grenache Blanc/Vermentino blend from the hills above Banyuls-sur-Mer and Collioure on the Med near the Catalan border. It has become our primary house white wine here at Mas Roux. Floral and lemony crisp but creamy. It just wants a fennel and orange salad with a few white anchovies, and a breezy warm day near the sea. — 8 years ago

'S' Blanc de Blancs Le Mesnil Brut Chardonnay
Min första Salon, en -96:a. Fantastiskt små och intensiva bubblor och en fräsch chardonnayfärg; häftig nästan bitsk men med finess fylld näsa av citrus, äpplen och mineraler; enorm syrarik smak där syran är med ända till den långa eftersmaken tar slut; smaken innehåller mer komponenter än jag kan fantisera ihop och mer än alla andra BdB jag provat tidigare. Slutsatsen är att trots sina 18 år är detta vin mycket ungt, ett barn, som förmodligen kommer bli en stor personlighet om ett par decennier.

Åhå va härligt. Ganska försiktig i nosen. Mest framträdande en mineralton och lätt bärighet. Men desto mer uttrycksfull väl i käften. Bärbomb åt det blåa hållet. Sötsyrligt men torrt. Känns lite som att suga på en sån där sur hallonlakritskaramell. Bra längd! Otroligt josigt. Knappt förnimbara tanniner.
