Del negociant nº1 a Puligny-Montrachet. Barrica nova 100% 12 mesos i el 100% en líes. No clarificat. Color palla més groguenc. Olor a pell i un punt vainilla. Eixut en boca, greixos (per les líes) i llarg regust de fusta. 111€ a Vinacoteca. — 7 years ago
PnP’d. Should have given an hour decant. Medium red color. Is a cross between Pinot, Cab, and a Spanish red. Mix the Aubert Pinot I had the other night and Pontet Canet and you get close. Bright red fruit with plenty of oak. Perfect drinking age!! What a great gift and surprise!! Thanks Malcolm! — 3 years ago
Aromas of almonds, white flowers, Fuji apple and mineral notes. Beautiful texture. Lots of flavor. Green Apple and fig notes. Very beautiful wine. — 4 years ago
Love this wine. Great energy and transparency. Lots going on with white truffle, iodine, blackberry and some blood orange. Vibrant palate. In a great spot now. — 5 years ago
The stage was set. Pontet Canet in the left corner, Leonetti reserve in the right corner. Leonetti came in strong, intense, rich, powerful with strong dry blue berry, dark cherry fruit and a well integrated tannins with hints of oak and tobacco. Broad on the pallet, all in. Who won? Almost too close to call. Such different style. Broad and bold verse intense and deep. Check the ratings! — 5 years ago
I’m a sucker for barton. Family liked the pontet canet better but this st julien was delicious. Black currant, leather, mineral - classic Bordeaux. If you want a producer well priced and built to age this is it. — 6 years ago
Needs to open but once it does -yum! — 7 years ago

🏅 Rating 92/100 (4,2⭐)
Bright yellow colour. Open and inviting with sweet ripe aromas of yellow fruits and hints of medicinal herbs. Stony mineral on the palate with a long slightly saline finish.
Les Combettes is in the top league of Puligny 1er Crus sitting on the same mid-slope as Montrachet Grand Cru, but on the opposite Northern side of the village bordering with Meursault. This vineyard lies just below Champ-Canet and almost touches Comte Lafon's plot in Charmes 1er Cru in Meursault.

Neal never stops impressing!!! Would have guessed Bordeaux all the way. 1hr+ decant. Nose of dark cherries, cedar, and menthol. Blue and black fruit on the palate with well integrated alcohol. Medium depth and medium plus finish. Reminds me of Chateau Pontet-Canet but 1/5 of the price. Neal rocks!! — 2 years ago
