Blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon & 19% Merlot, aged in new oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of ripe berry fruits and floral and earthy spice notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry, cherry and blackberry with licorice, tobacco and toasty oak notes. Long rich finish on soft juicy tannins, drinking well and still has room to age. Very Nice! — 7 months ago
Love it. Nice wine to celebrate 2024 and start 2025 — 9 months ago
Cork came out in 3 pieces, but no cork pieces left in bottle. Color is still medium-red, very faint browning on edges, massive cedar and cigar box aromatics, some pencil lead as well shows on palate, medium-weight, lovely balance, long, lingering finish, great older Bordeaux. Purchased at release for a song ($125/case) still have 5 left, this is one of my all-time favorite Pauillacs in the “non-1st, non-super 2d” category, amazing juice!! — 10 months ago

Nice for a pop n’ pour. Decent QPR. Blackberry, tobacco, picked up some mint. Tannins that made me want to aerate this more but they were not overpowering. — 5 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over a red sauce pasta night at home. High shoulder fill, but the cork completely disintegrated during removal. Juice is still drinking exceptionally well; shockingly fresh for being 40. Tons of black fruit and strong spices, with its age showing via expected tobacco and leather notes. Very structured via strong tannins and acidity; long and smooth / velvety finish...meaning this still has room to run. Cheers! — 7 months ago
Wine is dark ruby, on nose its blueberries, some toastiness, caramel,
On palate, its medium acidity, medium intensity, red and black fruits, little bit tannic at the end. Its a good quality wine. Drink it or keep it 3-4 years more. 52% Carbenet Sauvignon, 48% Merlot. Cheers!! — 8 months ago

Pretty color of ruby with a wide reddish rim.
Light nose and medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and complex.
Showing red cherries, currants, black plums, light oak, spices, herbs, earth, chocolates, licorice and peppercorn.
Medium finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Pauillac. Spicy and fruity. Smooth and elegant, with good structure and balance.
This 10 year old still feels young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.
Robert Parker 90 points.
I had a few different vintages of this wine and it is very consistent, and much better with age.
Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine. Will pair nicely with food too.

2015 vintage. With 74% Merlot (and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 6% Cabernet Franc), this is a world of difference compared to the 2022 ( 49% Merlot, 46% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot) tasted alongside. We switch from red fruit in the fully mature 2015, to the more black fruit personality of the 2022. While the 2015 is an attractive wine in a lighter style, it is no match for the more powerful and profound 2022,reflecting the impressive progress made here year after year since the Lorenzetti family took over. — 9 months ago

1hr+ decant. Dark red color, almost purple. Nose contains cherries, dust, and even some of that fresh ocean/beach smell. Mix of Napa and Italian. Very tannic wine with decent texture. Cherries, smoke, and burnt wood on the palate. Medium finish. Excellent QPR at £25! — 5 years ago
Great wine of Bordeaux. — 9 years ago
May 10, 2016. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet franc, 20% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot. Lovely left bank Bordeaux blend. Not a lot of tannin, good acidity, spicy finish. Yum — 9 years ago

Really nice and I didn’t know it was effectively a vineyard selection not a barrel selection — 4 months ago
