Château Moulinet Lasserre

Château Grand Moulinet

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2016

A very nicely balanced Bordeaux. Typical Pomerol tannin as well as notes of cherry and cassis. A great wine that it totally worth aging. Even after several relocations fun to drink after 5 years, though there is still potential in the aging process. I recommend decanting. — 2 years ago

I love 2009s! And this was one of the few reasonable choices on the Lasserre wine list. — 8 years ago

Château Les Rouzes Moulinet

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

A dark hued wine that is very typical of Right Bank Bordeaux. (Merlot/Cab Franc Blend). Low key nose of ripe fruit with a hint of smoke. Dark cherry, coffee and toasted oak flavors. Silky finish and mild tannins, which are typical of the Reds from Pomerol. I get the sense that some bottle age has rounded this wine in to form. — 5 years ago

Rèunis à Cébazan

Les Argelières Grande Cuvée Pinot Noir 2015

Delicious, big, bold for a French Pinot.

Chocolate covered strawberries? A suggestion of them anyway. And yes a dash of vanilla to the nose as mentioned on the back label.

Label says par Marilyn Lasserre.

Also, oddly, the label says mis en bouteille dans nos caves and also ...M E b par les producteurs Reunis a Cebazan.

Clos René (Pierre Lasserre)

Pomerol 1989

Could be mistaken for California; very clean, ripe fruits, subtle oxidation but impeccably cellared, ancho chili chocolate, — 10 years ago
