Blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Franc (15%), Cabernet Sauvignon (14%) and Malbec (1%). Medium ruby core that turns more garnet closer to the rim. Aromas of ripe red and black fruit with hints of tar and roasted coffee. Flavors of red cherry, raspberry, black currant, figs,and mocha. Just a touch of baking spices on the long finish. Red & black fruits, some eucalyptus and mint with noticeable chocolate, cloves and cinnamon on the nose. Black cherries medium plus acid dry and some chalky tannins with cloves, cinnamon and minerals on the Finish. tastes younger than its 13 years of age. A really good wine for the price. — 9 years ago
