Delicious grower champagne. Great recommendation from @Sarah O'Kelley — 7 years ago
Delon family (Las Cases, Potensac) Great Pomerol for the price. 2014 is accessible in its youth. Little bit of a modern approach, but still has some nice tannin structure. — 8 years ago
Deep ruby color with brick rim. Well developed wine with vibrant rich aromas of fruits, wood, trufel, spices and tertiary notes: gouache color. Invisible tannins. Elegant, balanced complex wine. Château Nenin is considered one of the better wines in Pomerol. Estate belongs to Delon since 1997 (owns Château Potensac & 2nd growth Château Leoville-Las Cases). 32 ha vineyard: Merlot 78%, CabFr 21%, CabS 1%. Château Nénin is the epitome of a great Pomerol "vin de garde" (wine for laying down). Rating 4,3/5 — 8 years ago
Had the 2009 vintage in July 2019 in Kairon with family for birthday celebration. Excellent. — 6 years ago

Bottle variance! Last one was bit maderized but this one was showing much better. Soft mature ripe fruit of peaches, compote and bread yeast toast. Enjoyed it. — 8 years ago
A beautiful bouquet, the aromas rise with an easy whirl of the glass. The palate is delicious, this wine is in a great stage of drinking right now with another 7-10 years easy. Lots of Cabernet character comes through with cherry, cassis and currants leading the way with minerality and spice tempering the fruit. Plush but refined, this has solid length with ample acidity and silky, ripe tannin. A long fruit and terroir laden finish. #stjulien #delon #bordeaux — 11 years ago
Menagerie of fruit; apples, pears, and nectarines. Yeasty/biscuitty characteristics secondary to the fruit. Excellent balance, the brightness of the fruit makes for a nice highlight in place of totally relying on acidity — 6 years ago
Very pale salmon color. Orange and minerality on the nose with toast. A bit of Loire-herbaceousness. — 7 years ago
Classy Sauvignon, bought from Waitrose. Good value at 25% off (16 down to 12). — 8 years ago
One of Delon family's finest, this is one of 3 main labels they own, next to Chateau Nenin in Pomerol, and the famed Leoville Las Cases in St. Julien. It is a beautiful expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, delicate, but bright and youthful, and beautifully colored. There is an abundance of black fruits and earth on the nose, and a bit of barnyard in the form of what reminds me of the rind of cheese, or mushrooms, followed by dry crushed rocks. The pallet is balanced and elegant, exhibiting intensity in blackberries, red apple skin, dark cherries, dried herbs, and a gorgeous finish. This was a wonderful wine to be enjoyed, and one that will attest time. I can't wait to have a 2010 in another 5-10 years.
Cheers!
