Wanting to taste something similar to a Condrieu and Chateau Grillet without the expense I opted for an Australian Viognier. This wine explodes with honeysuckle, honeydew, litchis, peach, and an aroma of orange peel and gardenias. The texture is like cool whip. This wine was able to retain enough acid to be balanced. Although low in acidity this wine was thirst quenching enough for a successful pool day. #hurrayforviognier #qprsuperstar — 9 years ago
One plot near chateau grillet. Wonderful mineral and floral nose. Very pure. Elegant and pure with astonishing minerality. — 11 years ago
Very reminiscent of the 2006 Chateau Grillet yet with more ripe opulent character. — 9 years ago

Fantastic Bordeaux red to enjoy with a great meal featuring red meat or a good selection of cheese...a very mature wine despite its age. — 11 years ago
And the Grillet was brilliant too — 12 years ago
