Deep purplish ruby red. A bit of heat on the nose with dark berries. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) and medium plus bodied. More integrated on the palate than the Clone 6. 1992. Would have been better 5 yrs ago but still very nice with dried more than fresh fruit (prune/raisin more than plum/ grape) but still a touch of tannin on first opening. Definite cedary Napa dust gives a bit of structure. — 11 years ago

2010, Domaine AuxMoines, Savennieres- Roche Aux Moines, Chenin Blanc. Tart apple, pear and a little Myer's lemon. Acid and minerality. 14.5 alcohol but so well balanced I didn't notice. A hint of oxidation but a wine that I will definitely buy again. — 12 years ago
