Deep & showing plenty of power. Fruit is out front, yet plenty of elegance on display here. Something I would love revisiting regularly. Excellent Champagne. — 7 years ago

Picked this up a few months ago from the state store when I saw Louis Dressner. Seems different from the only other fleurie I’ve had. Lots of earth juice with raspberry. — 5 years ago

This is damn good. Surprised. — 5 years ago
Gripping, austere, reductive, mineral-laced and utterly cerebral. That describes the general appeal of this very well-crafted entry level bottling. But it remains expressive, aromatic, lifted and graceful. This vintage has proven to be one of the best gateways into serious and traditional Burgundy wines for many of my customers, earning it a couple of extra points from me. — 7 years ago

I have been digging the Rhone wines I have had recently. Really good now. Has almost an earthy base before some nice ripe berry fruit starts showing. — 5 years ago
