Toasted bread-bowl jacuzzi filled with raspberry jam; Hawaiian steel guitar soundtrack; vintage station wagon fins. — 10 years ago
Been drinking this over the past 5 years, it's getting leaner and meaner. Pepper, angular, searing. A screaming guitar solo J Mascis style — 11 years ago
If you want a lighter Cabernet this is for you. 2011 produced wines with a lighter style. Good guitar and moderate tannins. #winestudio — 11 years ago
After long day on the Harley, this crisp rose from Provence proves clean showing an essential mineral-based quench washing away the trail dust and enriching the scallops, etc. in the brilliant French garden @ The Market Place on 20 Wall Street as sweet jazzy guitar works with the wine melting the neck and shoulder stress associated with 7 hours in the saddle screaming across NC, from my azure Carolina coast to our monster waves of blue mountains - Asheville! Sublime almost all the time! Cheers — 12 years ago

Yes. This is a white Zinfandel. No. It is not sweet. But still, it made me want to go grab my guitar and sit out on my back deck and play some John Prine songs. Either that or fill up the old bath tub out on the lawn and sit butt naked in some cool water on a hot day while slamming the whole bottle to my head. But seriously... we had this with Salmon and Yellowtail sashimi and it was perfect. This is a fantastic food wine and an even better porch pounder. — 9 years ago
Beautiful yet edgy stuff here, didn't expect to be so thrilled by it. Polished plums with bloody butcher's block undertow. Acidity like perfectly executed guitar distortion. A big fan of de Villaine family Bouzeron when in Burgundy for precisely this type of acidity current. Strong memory of seeking the shade in bright sunlight as a child. Poetry huh -must be a good wine... Love the bottle shape between Burgundy and Bordeaux? 2009 vintage — 11 years ago
Who said it best? Like chewing on electric guitar strings. Brilliant! — 12 years ago
The wine first hits the tongue with strong hints of tree bark and whimsy. Full-bodied and velvety, like the tongue of a mysterious stranger. It dances through your mouth like the moonbeams on a greek beach. It trips down your throat like the thrum of a Spanish guitar. — 10 years ago
All it needs is a guitar solo from The Edge of U2 — 10 years ago
Very light, smooth, easy drinking. Enjoyed with live acoustical guitar, grilled chicken, spinach and quinoa salad, a vegetable relish, and corn bread. — 11 years ago
Maybe it's because I haven't had a Petite Syrah in a while or maybe it's because this wine is phenomenally underrated, but whatever the reason, don't miss out on a kick ass wine! Complex , deep, mysterious raspberry and current flavors inundate the pallet with an intense desire for dark chocolate, Spanish guitar, and romance! Make life happen, people! — 11 years ago
I think it is perfect blend. Not too sweet or strong. — 12 years ago
A truly satisfying, fruit driven red at a reasonable, quaffable price. — 13 years ago

Crisp has a warm flavor about it. Goes well with a Friday night and an acoustic guitar. — 9 years ago
