Great wine. Will improve but not a bad time to open. Aromatics started with a distinctive smoky or reductive note that I couldn’t quite place but dissipated and morphed. Good structure. — 2 months ago
F’ing delicious. By the glass at clove club — 3 months ago
Beautiful on its own. Outstanding with an aged chuck turned into traditional gulash (braised). Just exploded together with the meat. — 4 months ago
It might be the post honeymoon glaze but this is an easy drinking enjoyable drop 🥂 — 8 years ago

So underrated and punching way above its weight class. Bit more delicate and pure than your high end Boudreaux. Perfect for seaside dinners. Great vintage too. — 5 months ago

Stunning. Dauvissat perfection. 2012 Clos is perfect tonight, with more fruit definition than Preuses as expected from the site. It’s textural, chiseled and powerful with Chablisen oyster shell minerality layered in a tidal wave of spiced orchard fruit and white flowers. It’s incredibly silky on the palate showing killer volume and density with racy citrusy acids and a sea spray-like salinity to round it out. When Dauvissat is on it’s hard to beat. And this is still young. — 3 months ago
Just delicious- lovely balance — 4 months ago
(En Magnum)…One to live forever, but with proper aeration it’s plenty giving, perfumed and seductive with a powerful, vibrant and structured palate with killer Grand Cru density and stunning length that seemingly never dissipates. For the long haul! — 6 months ago
Soft and pretty. Delicate limestone and cool floral notes. A hint of salinity. Poised and balanced. Delicious — 2 years ago
A wine easily shared with someone that doesn't require a label. — 11 years ago

Well, here we are. Selosse Initial. What is there really to say? Is it good? Is it great? Is it delicious? Does it live up to the hype? Did it change my life?
Yes.
A beautiful golden hue in the glass with profuse perlage. There’s no need for traditional notes here, we already know. Wonderfully electric, saline, and textured. Depth, personality, and romance.
Nothing I say here matters. Go get as many Selosse champagnes as you can. Then get a few more. And enjoy life. — a month ago
