Very good! I usually only drank Cabernet so this is a good change and very flavorful but dry. — 8 years ago
Dessert wine for champs ❤️ — 10 years ago
Subtle curve fruity to dry with medium acidity and alcohol levels, finishing with subtle oak tannins. Can only see it improve with time. — 10 years ago
Rene Bouvier is perhaps my favorite lesser known producer. I'm absolutely in love with his wines, be it a village Marsannay or an aged Grand Cru Échezeaux. And this bottle proves my love right — elegant, cherry pie infused young fruit, deliciously balanced even at this silly age. It's like a kid who can't lie yet — absolutely adorable and very fun to be around with. Please, please try it!
P.S. I am also very happy to be back from my horrible Southern Asia trip where people drink Jacobs Creek and honestly enjoy it. — 10 years ago

Insanity on the nose. Just bonkers. Sickness. Huge spice. Huge I mean huge spice. Also super mineral and very pure. Confectionary cotton candy like aromas and tree bark. Also tea. Maybe hoisin as well. Mindblowing. Big palate and immense power but incredibly elegant. It has Grand Cru grip and intensity and it is considered the best wine at the estate. Better than Clos des Chenes. It is insanely powerful and stacked to the brim with bright fruit and mineral that has sap, and really stains the palate. I think in 2 hours this will be insane. It’s changing every minute. What a wine. — 7 years ago
Very good champagne for the price. Kept as our house champs. — 7 years ago
My go to wine. Never disappoints. Stunned many first timers with it, and will again, I'm sure. The confidence of Laurent Champs is apparent in every sip. Only gains in complexity with air. Refreshing, delicious, fascinating. Disgorged in fall of 2015. — 8 years ago

Pretty good champs. Complex, with both some bread and minerality as well as a striking acidity. Slight earthyness but very enjoyable. — 10 years ago

Will induce involuntary flashbacks of clapping chalk erasers. Lemon, apricots and fleur de sel. — 10 years ago
Considering the age of this wine, it was absolutely spectacular!! — 10 years ago
Round and supple, it's fresh and focused and a far better representation of Chardonnay than any domestic version in its same weight class. At just 12.5% abv it's still creamy and lush, honey crisp apples and a slap of pear, intermingled in vivid minerality and the snap of acid, that will keep us coming back for more. The fruit is harvested from a small 50 hectares site, surrounded by premier and grand crus. Again, Tanzer gets it wrong, with his stingy 87 points. — 10 years ago
