I missed the pineapple and apricot mentioned in the other reviews, all I got was grapes. Really nicely bottled grapes. There’s a bit of terrior, is that chalky loam I taste? A bit of truffle on the nose, nice primrose overtones and a lovely afternoon day glow to the color palette. Really, just chill this in ice for a hot by the pool or picnic experience, or let it evolve after a hard fridge chill and enjoy it as you cook dinner and have another bottle ready at 52 degrees to enjoy with a pasta du Blanc or Shrimp Alla Buzara. — 7 years ago

Lighter red. Fruity with just a touch of pepper. Slight effervescent. Very good. — 6 years ago
This is an excellent modern-day entry level Cabernet Franc. Dazzlingly simple, yet awash with refreshing weight, dark fruit, Chinese spices, and a subtle dollop of black/green tea. If you are looking for something less obvious go back to red Burgundy. (This red straddles old world structure with new world gloss. I fear gloss will eventually win out. But for now...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾) — 6 years ago

A nice petite. Almost cab like. Slightly less jammy then some other petites. Still really nice two plus hours in. — 5 years ago
Im not a Chard fan because I think they are too buttery, but this one was definitely not. Clean taste and warm tones. Bought several more bottles to have on hand. — 6 years ago

PNP Spring/Summer sipper the wife likes @ excellent $ QPR. Here’s Tasting note 📝 she agrees with: “2017 Domaine Tabordet Pouilly Fume Les Petites Eaux Bues is pale golden in color, showing green apple and citrus notes combined with white flowers finishing on a long mineral and flinty note.” Cheers — 7 years ago

A soft nose of blueberries and mocha gave way to a strong palate of blackberries and wood (cedar?). Strong grippy tannins and moderate acidity of typical of a petite sirah, but the lower alcohol level (13.4%) made this quite different compared to other Petites. Really a fascinating wine with a lot of depth that shows the care of the winemaker. Decanted and let stand for about 20 minutes. Drank over 2+ hours. — 7 years ago
