2005, Suprisingly still close but already shows great elegance and finesse. Ruby with a touch of terra rosa, elegant and appealing nose of red fruits, Black Forest fruits and notes of smoke animality and a touch of barnyard, medium body with great acidity that will cary this one for a few more years, firm yet smooth tannins, that mellow over time. Luxurious finish. Well crafted and elegant. My score 90, drink to 2024 — 11 years ago

I know this wine. Excited to find it for less than 60 in a restaurant. At a fancy place too. Herons at the Umstead in Cary nc. Too, lovely and rich with blackberry, smoke and thyme aromas . It has a big mouthfeel with more blackberry, spice and sensual earth . Gorgeous! — 13 years ago
