The 2012 Haut-Ségottes makes a strong impression. An exuberant yet mid-weight wine, the 2012 possesses striking aromatics, no hard edges and enough depth to drink well for at least a handful of years. This is a gorgeous, under the radar Saint-Emilion that delivers the goods. Hubert de Boüard is the consulting winemaker. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous) — 8 years ago

1/2020. A big one from Saint-Emilion. Very nice on the palate with a nice lingering finish. — 5 years ago
One of the sleepers of the vintage, the 2015 Bellevue (Merlot) offers a striking interplay of dense, dark fruit and the more savory notes that are typical of this cool microclimate in Saint-Émilion. Delineation and precision give the Bellevue much of its distinctive character. There is much to like in this nuanced, super-expressive Saint-Émilion from the de Boüard family. 2018 vintage. Owned by Belgian Justin Onclin, consulted by Hubert de Boüard. A spectacular effort. A blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. Classy nose with ripe red fruit, flowers and subtle cedar wood. Concentrated and very elegant, impressive depth, beautifully balanced with perfectly integrated alcohol (abv. 15 %) and a knock-out finish. Definitely up to Premier Grand Cru level. Highly recommended. — 4 years ago
