It was fine - decently crowd pleasing — 5 months ago
Forgot to take detailed notes, but this was nice. Not really any carbonic / natural / “new agey”notes, just a solid classically made gamay. Definitely has some structure, opened 4 hours before serving which was good. Didn’t sing on any one dimension of fruit / earth / acid / length / texture but was nice overall. — 6 months ago
Enjoyable claret. Juicy lively but jammy. Nice black cherry, some savory notes. Decent length. — 6 years ago
Very good, no complaints — 6 years ago
Gary Westby’s recommendations never fail! This is an amazingly versatile champagne that will pair with almost anything; from sushi to thanksgiving turkey and fixings to a nice steak! — 7 years ago
Picked this up a few months ago from the state store when I saw Louis Dressner. Seems different from the only other fleurie I’ve had. Lots of earth juice with raspberry. — 5 years ago
Woodsy, more purple in color.
Would pair with duck and thyme — 6 years ago

Medium ruby in color; blackberries, cassis, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like black cherries, black currants, and wet gravel with a long finish. Needs to decant. It was much better after an hour in the decanter. Nellie said it was ok. I like it. — 5 months ago
