Lovely example of Italian cab. Lots of life left. — 8 years ago
A nice golden tint leads to aromatics that are fruity, laced with minerals. Apricots and lemon-lime give a much more forceful nose than I expect from a Pinot Grigio. The palate shows apples, citrus and minerals in a fresh display. The acidity is bright and zippy. — 10 years ago
Very good but not 2010 or 2011. — 10 years ago

Light and acidic with citrus notes on the back end. Perfect for warm weather — 8 years ago
Dirty old world Montepulciano blend. Drinks like Rioja used to in the 90s. Lots of charm and quality here. Medium bodied and easy to put down. — 8 years ago
I LOVE aglianico. Slightly obsessed. Earth and tannins. — 10 years ago
Very unique wine that starts with a grapefruit zing and ends with a dry, cool finish. Never had this before, pretty cool stuff — 10 years ago

Schiava Bischofleiten! My fave red glass pour at work right now. — 11 years ago
Colour: almost no transparency, dark red, violet.
Nose: quite ripe and concentrated nose of red and black fruit (raspberry, red/black cherries, plums), notes of violet and red pepper, old wood bark, pine wood, vanilla, Mediterranean spices, bay leaves.
Palate: medium body, moderate acidity (not a lot), quite warm at the palate but not too much. Red fruit coming through (raspberry, red cherries), tannins quite evident, and quite strong, wool-like tannins and astringency. Rustic feeling. More astringent in the finish. — 8 years ago
Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants. Eye opener (esp for 30$ list). Want to re taste in proper stemware. I think 80% nero di trioa 20% montulpiciano — 9 years ago
