The last vintage of Liger-Belair selling Aux Reignots fruit to Bouchard for this label. Pretty mature and drinks gracefully — 6 years ago
This striking blend of Beaujolais Gamay and Côte d'Or Pinot Noir offers cool scents of black cherry and licorice and a noble rusticity to its very ripe, plush flavors of black raspberry and spices energized by saline minerality and a note of granite. Broad tannins won't prevent early enjoyment. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2018) $25 — 7 years ago
Servi à l'aveugle pour testé le Clos Rougeard. Fruits noirs, épices, le bois est encore présent et se développe avec l'air bien et en a besoin. Texture soyeuse, belle rondeur. — 8 years ago

Bright, sour cherry, touch of oak. Classy stuff from the dream team of Ligier-Belair and Etzel — 11 years ago
Bright, but quite ripe, red cherry with almond, nice herbaceous notes and light nutmeg. Reductive notes are there, but not overpowering... so a plus for me. YMMV. A little time to breathe helps.
Thanks to 2015, this is delicious now, but there’s enough grip to hold for a couple years.
So, nowadays we’re paying $48 in Dallas for Hautes-Côtes de Nuits... 2015 is a banner year for everyone apparently. — 7 years ago
Oaked nose. White pepper, lemon, honeydew, margaritas. I love a Bordeaux blanc — 9 years ago

Pairs beautifully with beet and goat cheese salad. — 11 years ago
Much better than the 2011 Reignots. Intensely floral with sweet red cherry nose and spices. Difficult to believe that such an elegant and ethereal wine is from 2009. The sweetness towards the end on the palate was deceptive. Made us think the wine was 2010 when in fact the sweetness is attributed to the Suchot plot. — 6 years ago
I love this wine as much as shoes. That says a lot. No need to describe the wine. I compared it to Chloe shoes... Happy Easter friends. #shoes #whitewine — 7 years ago
Cuvee of Merlot and Cabernet Franc (possibly with some Malbec and/or Petit Verdot)
Mature brownish red garnet. Transparent but youthful for its age.
Classic claret perfume from the first second of opening and kept getting better as the night went on. Truffle, shiitake mushroom, old leather, potpourri.
Complete integration with no sign of stumbling over the hill. Bright red fruit, smoky cedar, earthy soil tone, cooking spices. The mouthfeel is supple and elegant, no excess or pretension. Clean and fully mature.
A birthday bottle opened for by a dear friend and a reason why I am so devoted to this wonderful journey. Last long in memory. 92. — 8 years ago
