Colli Toscana Centrale IGT 2012, 13.5%. An excellent blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Petit Verdot, short aging in wood.
Enveloping nose, with a hint of smoky. Very round and rich in the mouth. I loved it! 90/100 — 11 years ago

Awesome black fruits, ash and leather. Completely integrated with full tertiaries peaking through. Can't imagine it peaking more than it is now- drink it! — 10 years ago
Excellent value and the 2007 vintage is definitely ready to drink. Had to order a 2nd bottle — 10 years ago
A great bouquet of leather, spice and complex fruit that is duplicated on the palate. One of those rare times when a bottle is opened when it is in its sweet spot. — 11 years ago
A very nice supertuscan...round deep fruit from the Cabernet and beautiful tannins from the Sangiovese. — 11 years ago
Shit yeah!! Probably one of my favorite Italian wine producers ever. I discovered this castello back in 97 in Atlantic City and I finally get a chance to drink it in 2013 in Seattle!?! I love it.!!! A must buy! $25 / 94pts — 12 years ago

Love this wine! — 10 years ago
Considering the price, this is a beautiful example of how great the Sangiovese grape can be... Begins with that peppery, dusty sensation, opens up to a smooth, cherry, plum, with a hint of white pepper and menthol mouth coating! Delightful! — 10 years ago
Good with beet salad at Centrale in SF. — 11 years ago

First vintage ever of Fontodi Dino (named after Giovanni Manetti's father). Aged in amphora. The Manetti family has been amphora for 100s of years and it's exciting to try this wine in their family clay (mined locally in Tuscany)! Truly delicious — 10 years ago
