Bulls blood. What could have been a wild behemoth has been tamed: this one has benefited from age. Full bodied, fruit forward but tamed by earth, ash, and seared meat. — 7 years ago
Didn’t think I was going to like it when I opened the bottle - it was amazing after sitting for a bit - minerallly — 8 years ago
Bright ruby-purple. Slightly high-toned, intensely fruity aromas of black cherry, blueberry nectar, vanilla and licorice. Plush, tactile and suave, with the superripe dark fruit flavors nicely framed by a mineral quality and polished tannins. Finishes long and creamy, with repeating and nicely lingering clean, dense fruity reminders. Lambrusco that will make believers out of those who do not. All that at only 11% alcohol. $26ish price point. Very easy drinking. Easy complexity, minimal fruit, mostly earth, spice, mineral notes without being an overpowering wine. — 6 years ago
Golden ‘orange’ hue, notes of toasted pecan and a little musky.. long finish due to the generous tannins — 8 years ago
