Wow! Old school, very natural CdP. — 9 years ago
Very big CdP inky color and loaded with berries, a bit of meat and licorice. Took some time to open up and drinking great, just a beauty to enjoy. — 9 years ago
Fantastic value for a premium CDP — 10 years ago
Somewhat beefy thanks to the rousanne, great balance and freshness to boot. — 11 years ago
Really lovable CDP. Pepper, stewed blackberry, rust, very balanced tannins. Not too big... not too small. Just right. — 7 years ago
Thanksgiving 2017. Awesome. — 8 years ago
Happy birthday wine from a Jim. Yummy. Red fruit on the nose. very dry. Wonderful CDP. — 8 years ago
Nice ripe Grenache flavors. Just a little too much alcohol, for an entry priced CDP it works. — 8 years ago
Solid CDP. Great vintage. — 8 years ago
Magnum 1998 CdP — 9 years ago
Nose of cherry, liquorice and oak. After 3 weeks of tasting unoaked or minimally Oaked wines in Italy (with a few new world exceptions) I have picked up better "antennae" for oak. Still a good CDP if not a little simple. — 10 years ago
Yummy! Delicious CDP. Slight tannins, awesome texture. So easy to drink. — 7 years ago
Quite sweet. Plum but hint of vanilla extract and the minerality of typical CDP is a bit more muted. Tannic and medium bodied. Can def age longer to smooth out the tannins. — 8 years ago
Really looking forward to seeing how this CDP opens up. On the nose plenty of funk, yes, but as it blows off there are hints of black soil, mushrooms, dust, red fruit, and a slight floral aroma with potpourri and cedar that is beginning to rear its head. On the palate it's quite tight, but as time passes away so will the astringency. Rating will definitely increase as time goes on. EDIT- Day 2 and this wine is on point! Upgraded from 8.7 to 9.0. — 8 years ago
Another beautiful liquid fills my glass. Tart cherries, cherry pie and a little almond extract on the nose. Nicely fruit forward with tastes of raspberries and blueberries, white pepper and spices. A nicely structured wine with an interesting finish that shows a little oak as well as pepper. An interestingly light CDP in my opinion. — 8 years ago
Pale yellow/gold with bright full aromas of honey and fresh white flowers. Crisp acidity with balanced richness and weight from the alcohol. Palate of grapefruit and minerals. Very enjoyable full-bodied White CDP. — 9 years ago
Fruit forward, rich and layered. Soft tannins, robust flavors. Everything you're hoping for from a proper CdP. — 9 years ago
Enough funk to be honest, enough fruit to please everyone. Not a blockbuster but still a really nice CdP. — 10 years ago
Lovely. Fresh. Bright. Showing so well. Becoming more and more impressed with CdP '11s. — 10 years ago
This '90 CDP was well integrated and enjoyable #sommchat — 12 years ago
