Malbec grapes grown in Argentina, transported to Napa and bottled by Caymus. Deep rich color and amazing complex flavors of dark fruit, vanilla and.dark chocolate. But you must open and allow to breathe- it just gets better. Bottled in 2013. — 8 years ago
Best Pinot from the Caymus family — 9 years ago
Definitely on the sweet side. But the undertones do remind me of Caymus. Excellent for it's price. — 9 years ago
Very nice. When I guess Caymus still owned this label. — 10 years ago
Cherry and oak notes on smell and taste. Rich mouth texture and superb finish. — 10 years ago

Both too young but this was really good I picked this as winner but barely. Will be awesome when it settles down — 11 years ago
Better than Caymus. — 11 years ago

30% cabernet 70% Monastrell/Mourvedre grapes. 22-36 months in french and American Oak. New style Spanish wine similar to a California Cabernet. I would put this wine up next to Caymus in a blind test. — 10 years ago
Reminds me of a Caymus. — 10 years ago
Sweet, fruity. — 11 years ago
Picked this up because it was next to the very overpriced Caymus 40 year anniversary Cabernet....($10 jump last week) Smooth but not velvety, medium body...nicely structured. .enjoyed with ribeye...rating not higher due to QPR.. $40 at TW..this also just hit wine spectator jan re " 9 impressive Napa Valley Cabernets"., and robert parker gave big thumbs up in oct 2014 review — 11 years ago

Decent caymus proxy for $25 less — 7 years ago
Dinner with friends where this was the starter and moved into Opus One and Royal Tokaji to close out the evening. Great Pinot from the same family that produces Caymus... — 7 years ago
First, this is produced by Caymus with grapes from the Andes Mountains, and shipped to the Caymus vineyards! This main entry is incorrect, citing that is from South Africa. Some DB at Delectable should fix the entry. Second, it is full, rich, and flavorful. It is amazing. I highly recommend it! Woo!!! — 8 years ago
Deep violet color. I could feel the aroma with Vanilla. High density (<caymus), black currant flavor, silky tannin. good balance with calm tannin and acidity. 1 hour's decanting should be necessary. But 2 hours later, tannin surpasses other taste. But 4 hours, taste became much deep. @2100, my9, 170408 — 9 years ago
