Californian Mourvèdre. Merry red cherry with white bread in the finish — 7 years ago
Big rich full bodied wine! Wow after 14 years it still needs more time. If you like deep dark fully extracted fruit that possesses chocolate, plum, blackberry flavors like I do, then this is your wine. Nice wine..strong citrus, refreshing, not very sweet at all. Very smooth with hardly any acidity. Note: Our bottle is the Amarante grape.

First time trying an old Felton Road and a Block 5 courtesy of Can. Forest floor, some black fruits. Great concentration with depth and intensity of flavour. Good length but never felt over-blown or heavy. Shows why this wine is an icon. 94 points — 10 years ago
Needs time to open up but evidence of Arinto’s aging potential. Displaying classic notes of oxidized apples, citrus juice and preserved citrus peel. Saline on the finish. — 5 years ago
2005 vintage: on the palette, blackberry and grape jam with subtle notes of Marcona almonds. On the nose, the same notes but with some toffee. — 5 years ago

Best of both worlds. Violets, cherries, dust light leather. Boozy! 14% I believe. Lies off after about 30-40. Super delicious and different. — 11 years ago
