Green apple and citrus on the nose. Tart apple, a hint of grapefruit, stone and dry hay on the tongue. Very dry for cava. Excellent! A smooth and effervescent white. I’ll definitely buy again. — 3 years ago

47 months. Disgorged 28 March 2019. Intense red colour for a rose, almost close to a Beaujolais noveau colour. Super expressive in the nose with strawberries and raspberries. Doesn’t disappoint in the mouth with both fruits up, front and center. Finishes clean with just enough acidity. Lush soft bubbles. Amazing. Just so quaffable. — 5 years ago
Inexpensive Cava that, though a Brut, is not too harsh. Fruity notes with light finish. TJ NOLA — 6 years ago

Fantastic dry sparkling cava. Excellent for mimosas. Vaimo and I love it especially with a pineapple orange juice or pomegranate juice. — 8 years ago

Cava tastes a lot more like champagne than Prosecco, so if you don’t want to pay a fortune for your NYE wine, this might be your preference. Where Champagne is bread-dough yeasty, this is as well, but it is BOLD in its yeastiness. There are in yo face aromatics because this is edgy and harder than the other options here, which makes the smells bounce out of the glass. Want a big start to your new year? This is what I would toast with. Repeat after me: THIS YEAR WILL BE MY YEAR! — 9 years ago
