Perlato del Bosco Sangiovese 2019

Light with a slight funk that blew off quickly. Seemed to please a lot of folks at the table and we had ordered a wide variety of dishes. Good all purpose situation. — 10 months ago

Cuvée Prestige Brut White Blend

Stunning bouquet. Paired beautifully with the crab legs with jalapeño butter and grilled corn. One of the best values in bubbly I’ve had. $35-$40 @ Houston Wine Merchant. — 6 years ago

Accornero

Bricco del Bosco Vigne Vecchie Monferrato Grignolino 2013

Old Vines Grignolino from heart of Monferatto - tough vintage so saw a little more oak than normal, but led to an incredibly balanced wine with sour cherry and forest floor as the wine opened. Everyone should drink more Grignolino. — 5 years ago

Bright, lifted red fruits like sour cherry, raspberry, cranberry, red apple. High acid, very herbaceous. Needs fatty foods like pork, beef or lamb tartare, salumi and cheese. Chill it slightly like you would Gamay. — 6 years ago

Cinque Terre White Bosco Blend 2012

Alas, a great showing for this great white. Very persistent and mineral driven, yet round generous too. But I don't get the sense it wants more bottle age. — 7 years ago

@Kyle Harvey agreed about Ligurian wines!! @Jeff Savigny Cinqueterre is kind of tough though, in my opinion. This producer is the best although it's not easy to find. One of the few places that usually has it is in Rapallo: http://thewellofwines.com
